Hair transplant and hair loss treatments in Bangkok

Every treatment here starts the same way. Your doctor looks at your hair, works out what's behind the loss, and tells you what's likely to help. Some people need a transplant. Many don't, or don't yet.

Hair transplant

All three are DHI Micrograft, a variant of FUE. The surgery is the same. What changes is how we manage the donor area at the back, and that decides how many grafts we can take. Check your suitability directly with us.

Shaven DHI Micrograft

Our standard transplant. We fully shave the donor area so we can take more grafts.

  • Suits: larger areas, over 2,000 grafts
  • Up to 3,500 grafts per case. Surgery takes 4 to 8 hours.

Partial Shave DHI

We trim small patches at the back and leave the rest of your hair long to cover them.

  • Suits: up to 2,000 grafts, if your hair length and donor density allow it
  • Same price as Shaven. Takes slightly longer for the same number of grafts.

Long Hair DHI

Nothing is shaved or trimmed. You see the shape of your new hairline on the day.

  • Suits: smaller cases, usually up to 2,000 grafts
  • Priced a little higher, because working with long grafts takes more time.

Eyebrow and beard

Eyebrow Transplant (EBT)

Single hairs from the back of your scalp, placed one by one to follow the direction your brows grow.

  • Suits: thin, patchy or over-plucked brows
  • About 3 to 4 hours. The hairs keep growing like scalp hair, so you'll trim them.

Beard Transplant

Grafts from the back of your scalp, placed to fill gaps and follow the angle of your facial hair.

  • Suits: a patchy beard, or gaps around the moustache, cheeks or chin

Treatments for thinning hair

These work on hair that's thinning, where the follicles are still alive. They can't regrow hair on areas that are already bald. They can be used on their own or alongside a transplant.

Hair Nourishment Programme (GFC)

Growth factors concentrated from your own blood with the Minos PRP system, then injected into thinning areas.

  • Suits: early to moderate thinning, in men and women
  • 12 to 17 times the concentration in blood (manufacturer's figure). A safe procedure with no record of infection.

Cell Plus Therapy (CPT)

A small sample from the back of your scalp is processed with the Neo Rigenera device and injected into thinning areas.

  • Suits: thinning areas where follicles are still present
  • One visit, usually repeated every 1 to 2 years.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

Low-level red light from the Biolumina device on your scalp, 15 to 20 minutes a session.

  • Suits: anyone with thinning hair, most often alongside other treatment
  • Low risk. Included for a year with every transplant.

Laser Peptide Therapy (LPT)

A thulium laser opens microscopic channels in the scalp, then a peptide complex (HMPF) is applied.

  • Suits: people living in Thailand, since it's every 2 weeks
  • About 30 minutes a session.

Questions about our treatments

It depends on whether the follicles in the area are still alive. If your hair is thinning but still there, non-surgical treatment usually comes first, and it may be all you need for now. If an area is bald, only a transplant can put hair back there. Many patients end up with both: a transplant for the bald area, and treatment to protect the hair around it.

Yes, and we often recommend it. A transplant moves hair, but it doesn't stop your existing hair from thinning. GFC, LLLT or medication can help protect the hair you still have. LLLT sessions are included for a year with every transplant.

No. GFC, Cell Plus Therapy, LLLT and LPT work on follicles that are still alive. On an area that's already bald, a transplant is the option.

None of these work overnight. Hair grows slowly, so treatments for thinning hair take a few months to show a difference. After a transplant, new growth starts at 3 to 4 months, and the final result shows at around 12 months.

Yes, we treat female hair loss. Treatment may include medication, GFC, laser treatments (LLLT and LPT) or a hair transplant. Female hair loss is more complex than male pattern hair loss, so speak to a doctor about your options.

For a transplant, most patients fly home from day 3 after surgery, and follow-ups can happen by video call. Cell Plus Therapy is a single visit. LPT is every 2 weeks, so it suits people who live in Thailand.

It depends on the treatment and on your hair. Transplants are priced in packages by graft count, and every package includes your medications, aftercare, laser sessions and a year of follow-up. For an estimate, book a free online consultation.
